The police said this evening that in the first week since it has been prohibited to congregate in public in groups of more than three, 176 persons have been fined.

In a post on Facebook, the police said it has already been one week since the introduction of the legal notice related to prohibition of groups in public spaces of more than three persons.

Over this week several Districts and Sections were tasked with patrolling the streets across Malta & Gozo enforcing these regulations, whereby we have given a total 176 fines of €100 each to persons who were not abiding with the mentioned regulations, the police said.
