The number of new Coronavirus cases reported today is again 15, confirming a trend upwards in the cases registered, while three patients have recovered.
This means that the number of active cases has again gone up, to 125, more than double the 58 we had on 10 May.
Over the past few days, as preparations are being made to reopen restaurants and vanity shopas as from Friday, the number of active cases has climbed steadily, as more new cases are being reported than recovered patients.
In all, the number of registered cases is now 599, with six deaths. The number of recovered patients is now 468.
As from this week, briefings by the Health Superintendent are being held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and so no details are available about the new cases.
The number of swab tests carried out yesterday was 1,358, according to a table published on the Facebook page of the health directorate. In all, the number of tests has reached 56,224.
