Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri and parliamentary secretary for Ruropean funds Stefano Zrinzo Azzopardi inaugurated the dry-standing area in Xlendi, a project that cost €0.5 million.

The project was aimed to give more facilities to Gozitan fishermen.

It involved the reconstruction of the area reserved for fishermen and the installation of cctv cameras for better protection. Service pillars providing electricity and water were also installed.
