Six new Coronavirus cases were recorded in Malta on Tuesday, while two patients have recovered.

The number of cases has now reached 662, with nine deaths.

In all, there have been 610 recoveries while 43 cases remain active.

The health authorities said that 911 swab tests were carried out on Tuesday, bringing the total to 84,964.

One of the new cases is part of a known cluster, which has now grown to 19.

The other five cases were sporadic, and four of the patients were suffering different symptoms.
