Three young men, the youngest 13, the oldest 22, are being questioned by the police in connection with a theft from an establishment in Old Theatre Streer in Valletta.

The theft allegedly took place on Thursday at 6am, the police said in a statement.

The owner of the outlet reported to the police that the shutter had been dislodged and a theft had taken place. The cash register had been broken into and cash had been taken.

Police investigations led to the arrest of the three youths, who are expected to be arraigned in the coming days.
