Coronavirus: Fourth consecutive day with no new cases

No new cases of Coronavirus were registered in Malta on Monday, the health authorities said today.

This was the fourth day in a row that now new cases were recorded.

It is the first time it happened since the virus was first recorded in Malta on 7 March, and comes a day before the re-opening of the airpiort.

One patient has recovered, the authorities said, lowering the number of active cases to 21.

In all, the number of cases remains at 670, with nine deaths amd 640 patients who recovered.

The number of swab tests taken on Monday was 567, for a total of 95,131.
