No new Coronavirus cases were registered on Friday, and for the first time since 7 March, there are no patients treated for the virus at Mater Dei Hospital, health authorities said.
This leaves the total number of cases at 672, with nine deaths.
In total, 651 patients have recovered while 12 cases remain active.
For the first time since the first case was registered in Malta, no patients are receive care for the virus at Mater Dei Hospital. There is still one patient at Karin Grech Hospital, one at St Thomas Hospital and four at Boffa Hospital.
The number of swab tests on Friday reached 987, for a total of 99,126.
