A teenager was arrested by the police on Friday evening in connection with a theft from a hotel, the police said.

The theft allegedly took place from a hotel in Qawra Road, St Paul’s Bay, at around 11.30pm.

Hotel employees alerted the police after the cash register was found missing. The police mounted a search in the area and arrested the 19-year-old, resident in Tarxien.
