Coronavirus: No new cases found for the fifth consecutive day

For the fifth consecutive day, Malta registered no new cases of Coronavirus, while no new recoveries were registered either.

Figures released by health authorities confirmed the status quo.

It is the fifth consecutive day without any new cases of the virus and it means that the number of active cases of the virus remains just five.

It means that Malta has registered a total of 674 cases of the virus, out of which 660 have recovered and 9 have died.

931 swab tests were carried out on Monday meaning that the total number of swab tests carried out so far is of 108,533.

Authorities reminded that for any queries regarding symptoms or to make an appointment at a swabbing centre, people should call 111.
