A biker is in hospital after he was injured in a crash in Xewkija, the police said.

The accident took place in Jean de la Valette Street at 7.10pm on Monday.

The biker, 33 of Victoria, was involved in an accident with a Mercedes Benz driven by a 45-year-old woman who also resides in Victoria.

He was taken to Gozo Hospital with serious injuries.
