Five people, including two children, have been taken to hospital after two cars crashed in Tarxien.
The accident took place on Triq Tal-Barrani, at 1.30pm, the police said.
One car, a Toyota Rav 4 was being driven by a 48 year old woman from Sliema.
An 18-year-old man and a 5-year-old boy were also in the car.
The other vehicle, a Kia Picanto, was being driven by a 35-year-old man who was accompanied by a 6-year-old boy.
All five were initially hospitalised by the 48-year-old, the 18-year-old and the 5-year-old were later discharged.
So far, there are no updates on the other two persons.
