A 47-year-old Cospicua resident was charged with stealing litres of diesel from a number of vehicles, while also damaging them in Xewkija and Rabat, Gozo

The incidents occurred on the nights between 7 and 8 August and 13 and 14 August.  He was also charged with driving without a valid license, among other things.

He pleaded guilty to all the charges and sentencing was deferred to 19 August. He was remanded in custody.
