A 94-year-old woman has become Malta's 30th Covid-19 victim, the Health Ministry has confirmed.
The elderly woman tested positive on 25 September, and died on the same day. She was tested as part of the routine tests that are taking place in elderly homes. In two prior tests, on 9 and 14 September, she tested negative.
The Health Ministry, while passing on its condolences to the family, urged people to follow the guidelines issued by the health authorities, such as those regarding the wearing of masks.
