A construction worker was grievously injured in a construction site fall in Qormi on Monday morning, police said.

The man – a Pakistani – was injured after falling from height in a construction site in Sqaq iz-Ziemel in the limits of Tal-Handaq in Qormi.

The worker was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for care, where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
