76 new cases of Covid-19 found overnight, 110 new recoveries as active cases decrease

76 new cases of Covid-19 were found overnight, health authorities reported in their daily brief on Friday.

110 new recoveries were also registered.

This means that the number of active cases has decreased to 1,891. It is the first time that the number of active cases has decreased since 2 October.

3,075 swab tests were carried out in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of swabs up to 332,621.

Malta has 5,942 cases of the virus. 3,990 of those have recovered, while 61 have died.
