One hundred new cases of Covid-19 were identified between Friday and Saturday, the health authorities said,
165 people have recovered.
There are now 1,825 active cases out of a total of 6,042.

The number of tests performed over the past 24 hours was 3,698 for a total of 336,319 since the pandemic reached Malta.

The health authorities said Saturday’s cases are still being investigated. From Friday’s cases, 20 were from family members of previously known cases, 25 had come in contact with positive work colleagues and 10 cases were direct contacts with other positive cases.
