A Libyan man is in hospital and another is on the run after a fight which started in San Gwann and continued in Sliema on Saturday evening.

The police said that a 27-year-old Libyan who resides in Msida was involved in an argument with a compatriot, another 27-yeatr-old who resides in Sliema.

The incident started in Birkirkara Road, San Gwann, but the two chased each other in a car towards Sliema, and the fight continued in a parking area in Tower Road, Sliema.

At one point, a knife was used and the Libyan who resides in Msida needed the be taken to hospital for treatment. The other Libyan is on the run.
