102 new cases of Covid-19 were found overnight, the latest figures published by health authorities showed on Tuesday.
83 people meanwhile have recovered from the virus.
The number of active cases now stands at 2,086.
2,768 swab tests were carried out in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of swab tests up to 430,782 so far.
Authorities said that out of the 121 cases reported yesterday: 22 cases were family members of previously known cases, 9 were imported, 7 were contacts of positive work colleagues, 3 were from social gatherings, and 2 were direct contacts of other positive cases.
Malta has had 9,975 cases of the virus in total. 7,748 of them have recovered, while 141 have died.
