Two more Covid-19 patients have died, the Health Ministry announced on Thursday.

It means that the total number of Covid-19 patients to have died in Malta is now up to 148.

The patients who died were a 64 year-old man who tested positive for Covid-19 on 20 November, and a 74-year-old man who tested positive for the virus on 25 November.

Both of them passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

38 women and 110 men have now died while positive for the virus.

The Health Ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the victims, and urged the public to continue to follow all prevention measures.
