A driver was seriously injured on Thursday night after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and crashed into trees, the police said.
The accident took place in San Nikola Street, Cospicua, at 11.45pm.
The driver, a 44-year-old man from Marsascala, was driving a Citroen.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
