PN files complaint against PBS for not reporting hospitals’ court case

Tuesday, 19 January 2021, 12:22 Last update: about 4 years ago

The Nationalist Party has filed a complaint with the Broadcasting Authority against PBS after the national station failed to report on the testimony given by former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat in the case instituted by Adrian Delia on the privatisation of three hospitals.

Muscat testified on Monday, but PBS did not report his testimony. Neither did it report a statement issued by Delia, the PN said in its complaint.

The PN argued that this is a matter of public interest and national importance, saying that PBS’ lack of coverage showed a lack of impartiality by the national station.
