A man will be taken to court on Monday in connection with a number of robberies, police said in a statement.

Following days of investigations in connection with an alleged robbery, the Valletta district police together with the Valletta community police arrested a 33-year-old Bulgarian man.

Police said that investigations began on 14 January 2021, following a report of a theft of a bag from Valletta. Investigations also concluded that the same man was responsible for the theft of a laptop from an office in Floriana on 19 January 2021.

He is expected to be arraigned in court today at around 10 am before Duty Magistrate Ian Farrugia.
