A Pakistani pedestrian was grievously injured during a three-vehicle car crash, the police said in a statement.

At 7.45 am, a traffic accident occurred on Mdina road, Zebbug. Three vehicles collided: An Isuzu Elf driven by a 36-year-old man from Qormi, a Honda motorbike ridden by a 45-year-old Italian who resides in St Paul's Bay and Mazda Demio driven by a 40-year-old man from Qormi.

As a consequence of the impact, a Pakistani who was walking was hit and grievously injured. He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and investigations are ongoing.
