Two men were grievously injured in separate accidents in Mriehel and St Paul’s Bay, the police said.

In the first accident (photo), on Saturday at 6.30pm, a Frenchman was hit by a car in St Paul’ Street, St Paul#s Bay.

The 27-year-old was hit by a Peugeot driven by a 47-year-old Italian man who resides in Zebbug.

Just after 7pm, a 37-year-old man from Fgura was injured after he lost control of the Toyota he was driving and crashed into a roundabout.

The accident took place in Kummerc Street, Mriehel.

Both men were taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
