Two teenagers were injured on Sunday evening after a car overturned in Rabat, the police said.

The accident took place in Buqana Street just before midnight.

The driver, a 19-year-old man of St Paul’s Bay, lost control of the Suzuki Samurai he was driving, and it overturned.

The driver and a 17-year-old woman who resides in Siggiewi, who was a passenger, were grievously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
