A 39-year-old motorbike rider was grievously injured in an accident on Dawret San Pawl, St Paul's Bay.

The accident occurred at 11.45am. The biker collided with a car driven by a 21-year-old Mgarr resident.

The 39-year-old from Birkirkara was rushed to hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
