64 new cases of Covid-19, no new deaths reported

64 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities on Tuesday as the number of active cases decreased marginally.

67 people have recovered from the virus, meaning that the number of active cases now stands at 528.

No new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours, meaning that Malta’s death count remains at 399.

2,164 swab tests were carried out on Monday, taking the total number of swab tests up to 822,024 so far.

219,161 vaccine doses had been administered as of Monday, with 60,096 people having received both doses of the vaccine so far.

Malta has had 29,343 cases of the virus so far. 28,416 of those have recovered, while 399 have died.
