35 new Covid-19 cases reported as 16 recover

35 new Covid-19 cases were reported by health authorities on Monday as 16 more people recovered from the virus.

With no deaths recorded in the past 24 hours, it means that Malta currently has 280 active cases.

1,550 swab tests were carried out on Sunday, taking the number of swab tests up to 872,649 so far.

Meanwhile, 341,909 doses of the vaccine have been administered thus far. 108,716 people have received both doses of the vaccine.

Malta has had a total of 30,354 cases of Covid-19. 29,658 of those have recovered, while 416 have died.
