A biker was grievously injured on Monday in a collision that took place in Fgura, the police said.

The accident happened at 7.30am in Triq is-Sur.

It involved an Italian 25-year-old man who was riding a Yamaha and a woman aged 24 from Paola who was driving a Toyota Vitz.

The biker, who resides in Fgura, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
