The Nationalist Party wants a fairer tax system that does not discriminate against business owners, Opposition Leader Bernard Grech said.
He was speaking during a visit to PAMA shopping Mall in Mosta.
The PN, he said, will continue working to provide more opportunities for businesses and investment that translates into quality jobs for the Maltese.
For this reason, it is proposing a fairer tax system that does not put businesses at a disadvantage.
While foreign investment should continue, there should be a level playing field, allowing Maltese businesses to remain competitive, he said.
Workers are the country’s economic driving force and a PN government would be committed to safeguard their interests and offer them a better quality of life.
Grech was accompanied by general election candidates Bernice Bonello and Jerome Caruana Cilia.
