A biker was seriously injured in a hit and run accident that took place on the St Paul’s Bay by-pass on Thursday evening.

The biker, aged 30 of Attard, informed the police that he was riding his bike at around 11.30pm when he was hit by a car which kept on going.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Magistrate Astrid May Grima is leading an inquiry.
