11 new Covid-19 cases found as active cases drop again

11 new Covid-19 cases were reported by authorities on Monday as the number of active cases in Malta continues to decrease.

23 people have recovered from the virus while no new deaths were registered for yet another day.

This means that the number of active cases stands at 213.

1,524 swab tests were done on Sunday, taking the number of swab tests up to 885,309 so far.

Meanwhile, the number of vaccine doses administered is now at 379,951.  258,766 were a first dose of the vaccine, while a total of 121,185 people are now fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,458 cases of Covid-19 so far. 29,828 of those have recovered, while 417 have died.
