15 people meanwhile have recovered from the virus, while no new deaths were registered for yet another day.

The number of active cases now stands at 204.

1,600 swab tests were carried out on Monday, taking the total up to 886,909 so far.

Meanwhile, almost 7,000 doses of the vaccine were administered yesterday – taking the total number of doses administered so far up to 386,760.

265,361 of those doses were a first dose, while 123,843 people are now fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,464 cases of the virus in total. 29,843 of those have recovered, while 417 have died.
