Four new Covid-19 cases were registered on Thursday, the health authorities said, while seven people recovered from the virus.

The number of active cases has dropped to 189.

In total, there have been 30,473 positive cases since the virus reached Malta, 29,867 of whom recovered. No new deaths were reported and the total stands at 417.

In total, 400,118 doses of the vaccine have been administered thus far. Of this number, 272,025 were first doses, which means that 130,537 people are now fully vaccinated.

The total number of swab tests carried out has reached 891,075.
