Two men stabbed in Marsa incident

Two men were stabbed in Marsa early this morning, the police said.

The incident took place in Antonio Doublet Street at 12.45am.

The two men went to the Hamrun police station to report that they had been attacked by three others.

Both of them, aged 28 and 18 and resident in Birzebbuga, were taken to hospital for treatment.

The older of the two suffered grievous injuries, while the other was slightly hurt.

The police have mounted a search for the three aggressors.
