939 people were fined in the past week for breaching Covid-19 regulations, health authorities said on Monday.
The vast majority – 724 of those – were fined because they were not wearing a face-mask in public places.
128 people meanwhile were fined for being outdoors in groups of more than four people – hence breaching social gathering laws.
65 people meanwhile were fined for breaching social gathering laws within private residences.
11 establishments were slapped with a fine for breaking laws relating to catering establishments or of the provision of other services, while a further 9 people were fined for breaching mandatory quarantine.
