A 71-year-old Zurrieq resident was grievously injured in an accident on Triq il-Mitjar, Kirkop, at 10.45am.

The man was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in a crash with a car. He was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital and was found to be suffering from grievous injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
