A man was taken to hospital with grievous injuries following a fight in Marsa, the police said.

The incident took place in Triq it-Tigrija at 10.50pm on Tuesday.

The man, aged 44 of Qormi, was involved in a fight with another man and a woman, aged 40 and 34, and both also of Qormi.

The police did not say how the man was injured.

He was given first assistance by a medical team before being taken to hospital.
