A 17-year-old boy was injured on Tuesday evening when the bike he was riding was involved in a crash in Rabat.

The accident took place in Triq il-Hobbejza on Tuesday at 6pm.

It involved the biker, of Rabat, and a Toyota Starlet driven by a 32-year-old man of Dingli.

A Mercedes car which was parked in the vicinity was damaged by the impact.

The 17-year-old was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
