34 new Covid-19 cases reported

34 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities in their daily update on Monday.

35 people meanwhile have recovered, with no new deaths being reported in the last 24 hours.

Malta currently has 634 active cases of the virus.

A total of 32 Covid positive patients are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, two of whom are receiving treatment in ITU.

2,362 swab tests were administered on Sunday, taking that total so far up 1,187,198.

Meanwhile, 795,649 doses of the vaccine had been administered up until Sunday, 413,205 of which are a first dose.

412,062 people have now been fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 36,123 cases of the virus so far.  34,653 of those have recovered, while 440 have died.
