Nationalist Party deputy leader Robert Arrigo has been discharged from Mater Dei's Intensive Therapy Unit after he was admitted to hospital due to an infection.
Arrigo was initially admitted to hospital on Friday after experiencing pains which were suggestive of kidney stones. However, Arrigo developed an infection that infected his blood stream and was transferred to the ITU.
This was revealed by Arrigo's wife and his children in a Facebook post, saying that his condition has changed for the better and will thus be transferred to another ward where he will continue with his recovery.
The Arrigo family expressed their gratitude for the support and messages of solidarity received in recent days.
