51 people meanwhile have recovered, and with no new deaths from the virus registered in the past 24 hours, the number of active cases is now down to 586.

22 patients are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, with three of those receiving treatment in intensive care.

811,704 doses of the vaccine had been administered up until Saturday, with 5,059 of those being booster doses.
