A three-year-old boy was grievously hurt on Saturday afternoon after being hit by a car, the police said Sunday.

The accident took place in Triq it-Turisti at 6pm.

The boy, a Macedonian who resides in St Paul’s Bay, was hit by a Kia Avella driven by a 30-year-old man, also of St Paul’s Bay.

The boy was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
