The Nationalist Party said that in the last month and a half PBS aired 109 comments from the government side against zero from the opposition.

In a statement, the PN said it will continue to insist for balance and impartiality on the national broadcasting station, while exposing how PBS is using resources paid for by all taxpayers to give more prominence to the government while setting aside news coming from the opposition.

The PN said the legal team it had set up to monitor the situation is collecting data which shows that PBS is constantly pushing the government’s agenda while giving little importance to what the opposition is saying.

It said it is considering taking legal action to safeguard its rights in a democracy, while calling on PBS to really become a national station by providing all information without political interference.
