A woman was arrested by the police after 900 grammes of cocaine, worth €120,000, were seized on Monday, the police said.
The arrest was made by the Vice Squad in an operation with the Customs Department.
The woman, a 25-year-old from the Dominican Republic, was caught with 90 capsules of the drug on her arrival in Malta from Madrid.
A magisterial inquiry is being led by Magistrate Lara Lanfranco.
She will be arraigned in court today.
