Authorities warn against swimming at Qui Si Sana after sewage overflow

Health authorities have warned bathers against swimming at Qui Si Sana in Sliema after a sewage overflow into the area.

In a statement, the Environmental Health Directorate, within the Superintendence of Public Health, notified that until further notice “bathing is not recommended due to sewage overflow into the bathing water at Qui Si Sana (below the stairs).”

Officials from the same Directorate are investigating the issue.
