The number of hospitalisations of Covid-19 patients has returned to double digits as 25 new cases of the virus were reported by health authorities on Friday.
24 people have recovered from the virus, meaning that the number of active cases currently stands at 290.
11 patients are currently receiving treatment at Mater Dei Hospital, with one of those being in ITU.
848,445 doses of the vaccine had been administered by Thursday, with 29,990 of those being booster doses.
Malta has had 37,439 cases of the virus. 36,281 of those have recovered, while 459 have died.
