11 new Covid-19 cases have been reported by health authorities, as the number of people in hospital increased by one.

11 meanwhile have recovered, meaning that the number of active cases remained static at 271.

12 patients – up by one since Sunday – are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, with one person still in intensive care.

Up till Sunday, 853,683 doses of the vaccine had been administered.  34,300 of those were booster shots.

Malta has had 37,468 cases of the virus so far. 36,329 of those have recovered, while 459 have died.
