Getting to know… Marbeck Spiteri - her dream was always broadcasting

Net TV and Net FM presenter Marbeck Spiteri chose a fictional character with an umbrella as one she would relate with.

She does not like the social media much, but she says that her career followed her childhood dreams of being in broadcasting.

Her regret is that she did not pursue something she used to love so much as a child

Since I am a great fan of Princess Diana i have lately been given a few books about her life. I’m reading her biography.

Unfortunately I am not into sports but if I were to watch anything that would be football

Which show/event would you like to attend/have attended? 

Before Covid set in I had the opportunity to attend quite a few concerts abroad and the favourite ones I attended was that of Claudio Baglioni and that of Eros Ramazzotti. Looking forward to attend more in the future

What three items would you take with you on a deserted island?

A Walkman to be able to listen to music, a good book and coffee

I do not experiment a lot with different I haven’t tasted anything unusual to be honest

Singing abroad at a very young age and meeting children from different countries and presenting TV programmes for children

As I said before I am not into sports but yes I did have a bike but never managed to ride it properly!

My father

A doll which my mum had bought me. It was a particular one

Parties mum used to prepare to celebrate birthdays and Christmas reunions

Not having continued my piano lessons and stopping singing too early

Becoming physically dependent on others due to illness

Lady Diana sure a lot to discuss, Mother Theresa love her quotes and would heed her advice, Claudio Baglioni talk about his music and Mara Venier because I love the style of presenting her programmes

Not one but two, definitely my parents

To my childhood when life was simpler and we had less but appreciated more

The moment I embraced my grandson for the first time

Definitely anywhere in Italy

Envy as there seems to be quite a bit of that!

Unfortunately a lot of people die of cancer… if I were given the power, at least to find the cure for this
