The number of active Covid-19 cases continued to rise Monday as another patient died, health authorities said.

Sixty-two new cases were registered, with 42 patients recovering.

This has pushed up the number of active cases to 866.

The health authorities said that a 71-year-old man has become the 464th victim of Covid-19.

The number of people in hospital with the virus is still 12, with two in intensive care.

The number of vaccination doses administered is now 930,460, of which 96,507 are booster doses.
